Cascading Style Sheets on the GBdirect Site

This page will, when time allows, contain a full description of how we use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to enhance the visual experience of using the site. We will also be launching an in-depth CCS component to our web site design training courses in Leeds (Yorkshire) and London (South East).

Unfortunately, only the users of CSS-compliant browsers (e.g. Galeon, Mozilla, Netscape 6, IE, and Opera) get to see the prettier version of this site at present.

If you care about such aesthetic niceties, you can get most CSS-compliant browsers free of charge. We ourselves use Galeon and Mozilla Firebird.

Because of the way we have written the CSS, however, we can still deliver identical content and more or less the same usability to visitors with older and/or text-based browsers.
